Newsroom?
What newsroom?
This is what the Young People call a newsroom in internet, social/new media parlance. Now, I’ve been in a few newsrooms over the years and none have looked like this. Most were large, windowless rooms filled with green Steelcase desks and Chesterfield smoke. Just about every reporter had a bottle of brown whisky in the lower left hand drawer of his desk. No bottle was unopened. No bottle was skillfully hidden.
But this is a clean newsroom filled with wholesome goodness about DavisDenny and the folks who choose to work here.
What this is not is a newsletter announcing birthdays (unless of particular interest), meaningless awards and recipes containing butterscotch.
It is, rather, a tiny collection of scoops which, hopefully, will broaden your understanding, if you choose, of who we are and what we do both professionally and, when appropriate, personally.
I really believe this internet thing is really catching on. Really I do.
